GARMIN XT Mobile for Windows Mobile with unlocked Philippine Map (complete guide)

This is very useful for those who travel a lot. There's no need to have load or internet data access for you to be able to access the map because we have unlocked the map for you. All you have to do is connect your device to the satellites then you're good to go. This is capable of routing, trip simulation, track recording, etc.

PROCEDURES:

1. Download the necessary files.

Patience is a Virtue.

2. Connect your device to your pc/laptop via ACTIVESYNC. Make sure you have at least 130MB free space.

3. Run GarminMobileXTforWindowsMobile_50020w.exe on your pc/laptop. Follow setup. Select installation directory. I select Storage Card. DO NOT RUN GARMIN YET.

4. Run GarminMobileXTFreeBasemap_4xxxx.exe on your pc/laptop. This is to add a basemap to your garmin files. Just follow step 3. You will be prompted to intall Garmin Mobile XT software to your phone, just tap on YES. then tap on AGREE. DO NOT RUN GARMIN YET.

5. Run GarminMobileXTSupportFiles_4xxxx.exe on your pc/laptop. This is to add a other accessory files to your garmin files. This will take longer than the previous steps. Just follow step 3. DO NOT RUN GARMIN YET.

6. After installation, copy the PHILIPPINE MAP gmapsupp.img file to your GARMIN folder.

7. You can now use your Garmin, but on trial mode. to crack the Garmin software, you will need a software unlock key. This is unique for each device as it depends on the IMEI. I will generate a software unlock key for you, however, we will need your CARD ID. To obtain this, you need to run Garmin Mobile XT on your device. On startup screen, tap on CONNECT TO A GARMIN GPS. Then tap on SKIP. On the Warning Page, tap on I AGREE. Do not connect yet on other GPS devices.

8. On Garmin's main screen, tap on TOOLS button (wrench). Go to SETTINGS>>ABOUT (just scroll down to view the next page). You will see there some info about your device. Copy the CARD ID on a piece of paper or on your laptop's/pc's notepad, or anywhere. This is the info that we need. Close Garmin Xt software afterwards.

9. Now that you have your CARD ID, Post your CARD ID here, then i will generate your Software unlock key.

10. Once you have your software unlock key, just copy it to your to your GARMIN folder.

11. Run Garmin Mobile XT again on your device. This time, you will be directed to warning page skipping the trial spashscreen. You can now use your Garmin software freely! To verify, just go to TOOLS>>SETTINGS>>ABOUT. Your screen should look something like this:

Check your Garmin Mobile XT's GPS Setting. If good signal, you can use your Garmin for navigation It works also even in your GPS is off but OFFLINE panning only.
