Before you decide to update your Nokia N73 to the Music Edition, know that this may void your warranty and you run the risk of breaking your phone, like some people. Is it worth taking the risk? Find out first what to expect in the new Nokia N73 Music Edition.

Let's start..Don't be nervous. Feel the Christmas ambiance .lol

Download and Install: Nemesis Service Suite and the latest Nokia Software Update.

  2. Open Nemesis Service Suite and click “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window.
  3. Click on the icon “Phone info”.
  4. Click on “Scan”.
  5. Change the product code to 0539343 and mark the case “Enable”.
  6. Press “Write”, and your phone’s product code will be changed (You might think that nothing happened, because the phone is still in normal mode, and the changing of the product code only takes a couple of seconds, but don’t worry, the product code was changed.).
  7. Close Nemesis Service Suite and run the Nokia Software Update.
  8. Make sure not to touch the cable while your phone is updating or else you will break it.
  9. That’s it! When you restart your phone, it should now be the Nokia N73 Music Edition!

Additional Info:
  1. This procedure is very risky.
  2. The product code will change your phone to english/chinese variant.
  3. There is no step on how to downgrade the phone back to the classic version.

Tips:
  1. Your phone will go dead (Turn of Automatically) during the update process.
  2. Once the update process is complete, do not remove the cable connecting your phone yet. (Even if the loading bar on the Nokia Software Upgrade is complete.)
  3. Wait for the phone to revive itself.
