Almost all Nokia S60 phones have the same way on how to configure their Access Points.1. Go to Phone Menu > TOOLS > SETTINGS> CONNECTION> ACCESS POINTS.
2. On the Options, you can edit existing Access Points or you can also create a new one. It is better to create a new Access Point to avoid confusion.
3. Create a New Access Point
Edit the following fields..
Any name you want but I suggest you use a name of your network.
Example, IP Trick Smart.*ACCESS POINT NAME OR APN:
For globe: http.globe.com.ph*HOMEPAGE: (Optional)
For smart: internet
For sun: minternet
For red mobile: redinternet
For globe: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
For smart: http://wap.smart.com.ph
For sun: http://wap.suncellular.com.ph
For red mobile: http://m.redmobile.com
*AUTHENTICATION:
Set to NORMAL.4. Then click OPTIONS> ADVANCED SETTINGS.You will notice the Proxy address box (not the IP address box) and port number box where you will place the proxy address and port. Proxy Address and Port for Globe and Smart are listed below. After editing, click OK then click BACK and it's done.
